You are probably one of the most, “Real People,” who are working in the industry. Do you think that this is why you are so popular in that you simply are what people see?

First off, thank you for saying that. I’d like to think that is why I’ve gained popularity; that people genuinely like me for who I am in every way. It’s a very nice thing to think that you can attract people just by being who you are.

Game Crush is a site where gamers, nerds and other well loved basement mushrooms go to pay beautiful women like yourself to play video games with them. But we understand that you’ve parted ways with them; can you tell us why?

The issue with Game Crush was that I couldn’t promote anything about what I do – like my porno website, MeowMistiDawn.com, for example – in my profile. It was like saying, ‘Work a strip club…but you can’t tell anyone you do porn.’ The whole point is that both parties are using sex to sell a product. I figured if I couldn’t promote my porno sex life, then what was the point? I can play with my fans without Game Crush; I have been for awhile!

Can you let us know a little about the reality show that is in the works for Kentucky’s own Misti Dawn, or is it still all top secret?

I can’t say a whole lot, but basically it’s going to follow me living in the Bible Belt while being a tattooed porn star, hanging out with friends who know me from my pre-porn days, going to LA and NYC and being “Misti Dawn”, and the whole dynamic of my life and how it changes from place to place.

You’ve really gone the “other” way with your career and rather than claw your way up in the normal mainstream of the film and modeling rat race, you’ve stayed in the niche market and flourished. What do you think of your success with this VERY risky way of doing things?

I knew going in that “mainstream pornography” was not an option. It would be great if women and men from my area could get mainstream recognition…and its getting better in that regard. I think I have done the best I can while knowing what is a realistic and obtainable goal, so I don’t regret or feel like I risked anything in a negative way. But this is just me, and I don’t want to be anyone but me…and that’s working out just fine.

You’re a vegetarian are you not? And can you tell us why you’ve decided to stop eating meat?

Indeed I am. It was a personal animal care choice.

Your hardcore porn career started with the fanatically popular, “BurningAngel.com”. What name did you work under when you started, since we are all now hopelessly in love with you at our own site XXXToronto.com and want to see these photos.

I’ve always been Misti Dawn; it’s my real name as well. Its a southern thing to have two first names I think.

Do you think being a “nerd” helped you or has it begun to pigeon hole you?

I’ve done nothing but show who I am, and I have to say being a nerd makes me more relate-able, I think…and gives me a connection to my demographic.

You have probably one of the most fantastic shades of red one could want in their hair. Why did you go blonde?

Thanks! I went blonde for a bit just for a change. I was always trying to be the token red head my whole life, and thought blonde might be a nice change…but now that I am back to red, I know where I belong.

Thanks to your youtube.com channel, your fans get an even closer look into your life. If you become the mega start that we all know you’re destined to become, will you still post for free or will you cast aside your cheaper fan base for money and power?

Heck no! I love doing youtube videos and always will. I’m a firm believer in being nice to everyone for the sake of being nice, plus you never know what could happen in the future. Perhaps one of my fans that watched my youtube can afford a membership to my site and because I gave, they will give too.

Your site Meowmistidawn.com is up and running thanks to Team Burning Angel. Is it harder than you thought to be the centre of attention, or is it simply more fun?

It’s different; something to get used to. I’m still convinced no one really knows who I am or pays much attention, but I guess the amount of work and the people noticing say otherwise. I think it’s just too big for me to wrap my head around still. I feel like I’m sitting there and someone is pointing at me and I’m going “Me? You want me? Really?”

What was it like to get excommunicated from the Mormon church? Did they send you a letter notifying you that your prayers were no longer needed here or did they ride you out of town on a rail?

I did get a letter, and it basically said after reviewing “evidence” blah blah, find better friends and save your soul. It was silly really; I had not been to church in over 10 years and I’m agnostic so I didn’t feel very impacted. They’ve excommunicated people for less. Plus, at least I know I have some fans in the church if they have “evidence”.

Last Question: Star Trek or Star Wars, and why?

Oh, not fair! I have to say Star Wars a BIT more than the Trek, mostly because as a little kid my papa made me watch the old Star Trek for hours and I didn’t get it so as I got older I just didn’t care for it, athough after the newest movie it DID revamp it for me. But Obi Wan Kenobi is my only hope.
